Burgos to Hornillos Del Camino
It was a long day. Angie decided that she wanted to make the trip. It was a 13 mile trek. Very level and the trail was very smooth. Dirt path but no boulders. It took us 7 hours. We’re pretty sure Angie needs to take a bus or cab for the next destination tomorrow.
We are staying at a casa rural in the middle of nowhere. But It’s claim to fame is that the owner’s daughter is married to Emelio Estevez’s son. There are posters of the movie “The Way” all over the place.
The owner was in the movie as a waiter toward the end of the movie. Very nice fellow & very proud. Many scenes were shot on this property.
By my calculation, as of today we have walked over 200 miles so far. 290 more to go!
Keep on keepin on.
God bless you guys

This is not amusing anymore…..Besides me thinking you should be here PAINTING, and looking at a picture of a half smile and cold compresses on your feet, why in the world are you still walking? You know, this is not the Battan Death March !! ANGIE TAKE THE BUS FOR AS LONG AS YOU NEED TO !!! …….so much for the scolding…..The Shingles are finally leaving ! it has only been 6 months ! (We don’t want to rush into anything, Hah ! ) Plans are moving along for our 50th Anniversary….and I want you dancing at the Anniversay Party…..Christine is in Boston for a week (taking a group from Art Museum), Mo’s painting of Gus’s daughter is really coming along nicely…..I am close to finishing my last ” Bones” oil ( hurray ) and they broke ground for the house in Arizona. Your postings have encouraged me to go on line everyday to see what’s going on ! Thanks Mike. Love you xx Jane
